GENSHIN IMPACT – Update version 1.2 Featuring White Chalk and Black Dragon: Gameplay, New Features and new Dragonspine area

▌Scarlet Quartz
Scarlet Quartz is a kind of mysterious crystal that can be found in Dragonspine. This crystal contains heat energy that can envelop the character after being destroyed.
Collecting Scarlet Quartz will temporarily stop the accumulation of Sheer Cold. And as long as the Scarlet Quartz effect lasts, characters can fully defend against the cold.
Above Dragonspine There are also some strange chunks of ice that are difficult to crush and cannot melt when burned. These strange chunks of ice cannot be melted in the normal way. Characters can only melt them while under the influence of Scarlet Quartz.

〓New System: Frostbearing Tree〓
Frostbearing Tree is an ancient giant tree guarding this snowy mountain.
When doing exploration at Dragonspine, sometimes you will find a crystal called Crimson Agate. Collect Crimson Agate to level up Frostbearing Tree, and get various rewards such as Acquaint Fate, Intertwined Fate, Wind Glider and Blueprint equipment.
▌Frostbearing Tree Prize Details
1. Warming Bottle
After Frostbearing Tree reaches Lv. 4, you will receive a Blueprint which can be used to make Warming Bottles.
“You can use Flaming Flowers (Stamen) and Starsilver to make Warming Bottles. Once used, the Warming Bottle will enter a cooldown time of 120 seconds.
Warming Bottle will release heat in a short time, and can help Traveler reduce the accumulation of Sheer Cold. “
2. Business card style: Frostbearing – Ancient Tree
After Frostbearing Tree reaches Lv. 9, you will get a name card Style: Frostbearing – Ancient Tree.
3. Catalyst weapon: Frostbearer
After Frostbearing Tree reaches Lv. 10, you will get a Blueprint of Catalyst 4 weapons: Frostbearer.
4. Wings of Concealing Snow
After Frostbearing Tree reaches Lv. 12, you will get a new type of Wind Glider: Wings of Concealing Snow.
“Apart from the rewards above, when the Frostbearing Tree has reached Lv. 8, Crimson Wish will open. Five new Crimson Wish missions will be available every Monday and Friday. Crimson Agate will be awarded as a reward for successful completion.
Total Crimson Agate in Dragonspine very limited. A Traveler must complete the Crimson Wish Quest to obtain more Crimson Agate, in order to increase the Frostbearing Tree’s level. ”
After Frostbearing Tree reaches its highest level, the Crimson Wish Quest will no longer be renewed.
〓New Domain: Peak of Vindagnyr〓
After completing the quest “In the Middle of the Mountains”, a Traveler can open the domain “Peak of VindagnyrWhich is at the top of the mountain. After successfully completing the domain challenge, Traveler will get Artifacts such as Blizzard Strayer and Heart of Depth.
In the domain, characters will continue to accumulate Sheer Cold. While the conditions in the challenge area will occasionally change status between “Warm“And”Subzero” consecutively. Condition “Warm“Will help the Traveler reduce the accumulation of Sheer Cold characters, while the condition”Subzero“Will accelerate the accumulation of Sheer Cold.
〓New Event: White Chalk and Black Dragon〓
After completing the “White Chalk and Black Dragon” storyline, the Traveler will get this event-exclusive sword – Festering Desire.
During the event, the new effects for Festering Desire will be unlocked if the Traveler successfully completes certain quests. Characters equipped with the Festering Desire sword will get a special buff effect during their exploration in Dragonspine.
After opening the area Dragonspine, Travelers don’t need to use Original Resin to participate in the Event. Travelers can also exchange gifts at the Event shop.
